Chhota Bhangal Winter Trek
An easy trek in the lap of Mighty Dhauladhars. The highlights of this trek are: Winter trekking, chance to experience snow, Dhauladhar range, pine & oak forests, Uhl Valley and a peak into the traditional lifestyle of the region
About the trek
Chhota Bhangal region in Himachal Pradesh lies primarily in Uhl valley near the Dhauladhar range divide between Kangra/Chamba, on Kangra side. It's a beautiful and relatively unexplored region dotted with beautiful terraced fields on mountain slopes all around. The Chhota Bhangal region still retains much of its traditional look as compared to other 'developed' hill stations. This particular trail that we are running the trek through, has a gradual gradient for most of the route; hence no steep ascents are involved.
