About the trek
You move through two very beautiful regions - Chauhar valley and Chhota Bhangal in this trek. It is an easy - medium level trek. The highlights of this trek are: Mighty Dhauladhar range, pine, oak and rhododendron forests, and remote scenic mountain villages. The trek ends at Billing, the world famous paragliding take-off site.

Transport from Baijnath to trek starting point and from trek end point to Baijnath is included in cost.
Baijnath - Harabagh - Barot - Rajgundha - Billing - Bir - Baijnath
Day 1 Baijnath - Harabagh (~25km by road ). Harabagh (~1400 m) - Barot (12 km, 6 - 7 hours trek)
Proceed to Harabagh by road and start the trek. Right from start the climb is a bit steep, so an early start is recommended. Trekking through a mule path along oak and rhododendron forest, we will enter the Chauhar valley and passing through scenic villages, reach Barot. Lamadag stream merges with Uhl river at Barot.

Day 2 Barot - Chaina(~5.5 hours)
We proceed in upstream direction of Uhl and take right or left bank, depending upon snow and trail condition, and reach Chaina. This is Chhota Bhangal region. Most of the villages of Chhota Bhangal retain their traditional look and have terraced fields with potato and rajma(kidney beans) as major crops

Day 3 Chaina- Billing ( ~4 hours )
We proceed through a trail of gentle gradient passing through rhododendron, oak and pine forests, and reach Billing, the take-off site for the world famous paragliding valley. The trek ends here and downhill road journey to Baijnath will take around an hour. Those willing to try tandem paragliding can do so here (not included in the package)

Reaching Baijnath
It is recommended to reach a day before trek for proper rest, energy and acclimatization.
Delhi - Baijnath
Direct bus till Baijnath from ISBT Kashmiri Gate, Delhi ( Travel time 13 hrs approx ).

Delhi -(via train) - Pathankot - (via road) - Baijnath
You can take a train till Pathankot(PTK) or Pathankot Cantt (PTKC). Almost all trains going to Jammu will halt at Pathankot Cantt. There are many overnight trains from Delhi to Pathankot. Journey time is 9 hours approximately and overnight journey is recommended to save daytime.

Pathankot to Baijnath
From Pathankot , it's 4 - 5 hours by road to Baijnath. Bus/taxi are good options.

Usually, participants coming by train prefer to gather at Pathankot, and then share the taxi to Baijnath. Good option for both company and economy! We'll share the details once participants from all over are registered, so that people travelling from same region can travel together if they want to.
